So I have this headcanon that other members of the Rebellion aren't exactly welcoming to Bodhi when he first comes along. He's a defector, sure, and he's helping their cause but that doesn't change the fact that he worked with the Empire for years. They don't trust him and make it pretty clear that he's not welcome there. Bodhi accepts it without fuss because he expected as much and he doesn't really blame them. The other members of the Rogue One crew, however, are absolutely furious and more than happy to fight anyone who touches their pilot.

Bonus if:

+Bodhi keeps showing up with black eyes/busted lips and Jyn is totally fine returning the favor to those who did it

+Chirrut and Baze become total space dads and get super protective of Bodhi

+K2 sees it happen and "accidentally" tasers someone

+Cassian sees it happen and goes completely wholesale on the perpetrator
