Jyn gives Chirrut her necklace when he asks for it, and the Force gives her a glimpse of the future. The movie ~is~ that glimpse, and it is seen by both Cassian and Jyn, since he has his hand on her, trying to hurry her along, when she hands over the necklace.
So they have to get Bodhi, Galen, and the plans at Scarif, and still get a HEA. But the important bit is that now they implicitly trust each other, without meaning to, and have ~deep feelings~ even before they've found Saw, and how that affects them and the story.
