Were there any other science-types out there impressed that Galen (the movie) realised that of course the Empire would eventually be able to finish the Death Star and its super-weapon without him?
It always annoys me when movies insist that tearing up a lab or killing one or two key scientists is enough to stop a project; as if the data isn't backed up in five different places and three other labs are working on the same damn project elsewhere in the world, probably. If you want to kill a project, you kill the grant-money, obviously.
